LOCAL TRUST FORPRO

Different phases of decentralisation have seen France's local authorities assume responsibility for managing vocational training and apprenticeship. Local authorities' involvement in this domain has reached such a level that it requires the coordination of a large number of partners and the industry-level structuring of procedures and management tools.

LOCAL TRUST FORPRO is a software package solution for the management of public plans for vocational training and apprenticeship, which enables local authorities to :

• Improve the quality of management, steering and control of local training policies
• Optimise management processes for tasks relating to continuous training, streamlining the processes currently in use, harmonising and speeding up the flow of information, sharing information whilst making it more reliable and reinforcing the traceability and legal compliance of operations
• Promote the Region's image externally, principally vis-à-vis its partners.

This solution manages :

• Regional financing of training operators: selection through calls for tenders, contract execution for the various training programs
• Remuneration of trainees
• Subsidies to the employers of apprentices

LOCAL TRUST FORPRO is modular and allows for tailored adjustments to be made to the functional scope of projects as outlined by local authorities.

Its integration with LOCAL TRUST SUB allows additional management of Regional funding of vocational training through subsidies.
